Reception staff were welcoming and efficient, plenty of free parking, room was large, with all the normal facilities, fridge, bottled water, tea/coffee - including a fan. Hot so, with limited opening windows, on this occasion air conditioning would have been appreciated. Hotel facilities are excellent, nice bar, lovely spa and pool with none of that tired "around the edges" mould that you sometimes see despite the decent facilities - very clean. Good breakfast and efficient check out.

Nice hotel let down by the little things Card machine in bar unable to print legible receipts, pain for expenses . Bar food service on hold as restaurant upstairs was busy . Staff unable to service coffee machine . Housekeeping missed . No enquiry at checkout as to satisfactory stay or otherwise . I get these are very first world issues but I was asked for my experience , for average of £160 a night could have been slicker

This hotel is very weirdly set out, there's a lot of walking involved and the signs don't always make sense. The downsides - air con in the room was very noisy and it didn't actually cool the room down! The corridor was significantly cooler than our room! The restaurant was just a shambles, both at breakfast and at dinner. There seemed to be people trying to do everything, rather than setting people specific areas to look after. The positives, the staff on the front desk were nice, the food was ok, although rather expensive for what it was. On the whole, I wouldn't stay again.

Had a great one night stay in two double rooms. Plenty of parking. Warm and welcoming staff. Great food and service in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast, and in the bar and outside terrace area. Used the gym which is small but well equipped. Overall an enjoyable stay and will go again.

Great hotel with large rooms and amenities. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the food and bar were excellent. will definitely come back if the opportunity arises

Rooms are ab

No air con in rooms and the price of food and drinks has got ridiculous. Shame as it’s a nice place but probably won’t stay again
