If you are looking to book this hotel, don’t bother! When we arrived we assumed the hotel served breakfast as the title of the hotel is ‘B&B’, they do not serve breakfast which wasn’t the end of the world but a bit of a inconvenience, one lady on reception gave us some recommendations and was very helpful. When we got to the room it wasn’t very clean, it was quite run down, walls were dirty and marked, also our bedsheets were unclean, also only one workable plug socket in the room, the fridge was also warm which is useless. On our second day we returned back from a long day so was very tired and needed to cool down, and returned back to the room to a power cut. One other lady staff member said it was “normal and that the power would return in an hour”, how should this be normal, she did not seem bothered. All the power came back after around half an hour or so but the air conditioning did not (also the same for my parent’s room). Before we went for dinner we told a male staff member on reception about the air conditioning and he said we would go and fix it. When we returned the air-con had not been fixed, the room was absolutely boiling and the reception was shut so we couldn’t contact the hotel, none of us slept that night. Poor service, would not recommend. Also if you have a lot of luggage or have mobility issues, stay away, be prepared to climb 3 flights or stairs as there is no lift. Luckily we only stayed for 2 nights.

The property was well located between the Rialto Bridge & St Mark’s Square. No elevator, so three steep flights of narrow stairway faced us weary travellers. Otherwise a very average stay.

The front desk person was very kind and friendly. Location was perfect, close to the main tourist areas but far enough from the crowds for a quieter experience. Just about three minutes from the famous tiramisu place “I Tre Mercantil.” The air conditioning was good and kept the room at a very comfortable temperature. There was a small working refrigerator and a wardrobe. The room appearance was cute, very Venetian with a beautiful ceiling and exposed wood beams. However, I have several observations: the bathroom needs an urgent upgrade. There was a lot of mildew in the shower. Not enough pressure on the toilet to flush correctly and towels very thin. The mattress was super hard, but the pillows were good. Be ready to go up the stairs a total of three floors as there’s no elevator. The stairways look like they haven’t been cleaned in a long time.

Stay here!!! We love this place. Our daughter had a travel issue, and they kindly able to accommodate our need to keep our granddaughter. There are about thirty or forty steps to climb after you enter the building. It is a little tight but manageable. It seemed centrally located to everything we needed. Great place. Shout out to Monica for being so sweet and helpful.

Great place

The rooms had good air conditioning, it was cold. The bed was a little hard and limited hot water in shower. Be mindful you need to carry the luggage three floors up stairs.

We didn't need the AC. The room was nice but be aware it's on the 3rd floor with no elevator. It was difficult getting our luggage to our room. The location was good.

This place was convenient for us, we didn’t have to walk far to get around. We loved having a place to go lay down to in between the chaos with all the food and shopping. I enjoyed the hot showers, and location.

Beautiful location on the canal and close to piazza and restaurants. Staff helpful. The safe wasn’t functioning and the main key very difficult to work.

Everything was great and the lady at the front desk was very nice and helpful. The location was perfect.
