The hotel description online was not accurate, as follows: 1) Mini fridge: The fridge was not very cold. When I asked how to set the fridge to cool, I was told this is not a fridge. It is only for putting cold items in, so they don't warm up so quickly. 2) Air conditioning: This was exceedingly inadequate!!! When I asked how to get the AC to work, I was told to push the AC button twice, set the temp to 19C, set the fan speed up to max, and I should close the drapes. I did all of these things, and the room never got to 19C, even though we were there for 6 nights. I asked about getting the AC checked, 4 days in a row, and I was told that this was on the work order. Finally, after I asked the 2nd time on the 4th day, someone came to check. He brought a thermometer along and said the air coming out of the AC vent was 22C. However, we noticed that the hallways were cool, even though our room was warm. Another guest told us that she was with a group of 30 people, and it was not cool in any of their rooms. Another guest said someone measured the temp in their room at night at 27C. If I we had known that the AC is so poor, we would definitely have booked a different hotel! 3) Daily housekeeping: When we checked in we were told that the housekeeping is every 2nd day. 4) Free bottled water: This consisted of 1 free bottle of water on the day we arrived. This was never repeated. 5) Coffee maker: There was a kettle and some instant coffee packages, but no coffee maker.

The room was amazing.

Absolutely fantastic, decided to stay another night. No faults no complaints, room was amazing.

We moved from another hotel to this hotel during the heatwave. Zandra took her time to show us the room before we made a definite decision to stay. She explained everything to us. Herself and every other staff member we met were extremely helpful and welcoming. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. Food in the restaurant was delicious. Service in the bar and restaurant was excellent. It was great to have access to the swimming pool. Also this hotel is right in the centre of everything. Excellent overall. Highly recommend.

Aircon not good enough. I was not advised I would be charged for swim pool.

The room was ideal, clean with all the basics you could need. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was very central with all the visitor attractions and things to do in walking distance. The only issue was the poor air conditioning, which was much needed due to the unseasonable extreme heat. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay and would visit again should we return to Cologne.

Conveniently close to Cologne central station (walking distance), roomy, staff members are all friendly, overall very satisfied.

Great hotel in central location. The staff went above and beyond by making our 25th Wedding Anniversary feel special - they put rose petals on the bed and a towel animal.

Comfortable stay and very welcoming staff

Hotel was good and in a good location just far away from the noise and business, but a 2min walk to shops, bars and restaurants. If planning on using the sauna and swimming pool look into prices before hand as we assumed it was included but there was a per usage charge.
