I feel that Hotels.com should advise clients when a secondary fees are unusually high. In this case, as I was happily checking in the Clerk said, "Our parking fees for parking on the property are (insert unusually high fee) per day...is that ok?" I was over a barrel at that point, and reluctantly agreed to the confiscatory fees. I mentioned to another rep at the facility that I was unhappy and she argued with me and then hung up the phone.
The resort is very nice and we enjoyed the room immensely. The surprise excessive parking fee left a bad taste in my mouth and I will not return to that lodging facility.
