The Barn - Hostel

The Barn was very comfortable and super Clean - my first time in a hostel. Location is gorgeous and the rooms were clean. The kitchen was super organized and felt like home. Staff was really kind and helpful- would stay here again for sure!

Stayed in a double bed with a friend in a room with 4 double beds (8 ppl). These were pod-style and were quite private and comfy. There is not a lot of room for storage however -- we got there after the 2 above us, who had already spread their items across both bag stands and all the hooks in the corner, which was frustrating. I think the last couple to enter the room kept their things out in the hallway. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies, but got VERY busy and overwhelming in the evening. It was also very hot in there. There were only mini fridges for food storage (no freezer) which made it tricky to keep food there. The layout of the facilities was great: separate sinks near the rooms, with separate WC with sinks, and separate showers down the hall. Didn't have to wait for a single facility, and it looked like the hostel was quite full. Overall, clean, functionally laid out, with a useable but cramped kitchen without large fridge space. Stylish space. Would return.

Stayed in 4 bed double bed dormitory. Hostel itself was good just be aware of other people might not be respecting the quiet hours. People check in at mid-night and unpacking, keep moving luggage and open the light. Alarms and message notifications keep ring from 4am. Only barely got few hours sleep on and off.

Room was clean and comfortable. Used the kitchen for breakfast and dinner but huge group came in and took over all the sinks and much of the prep space. Shared kitchen could be bigger but it was a one off, otherwise they had everything we needed. Great location. Recommended.

I loved my stay at the Barn! I am not usually a fan of shared dorms in hostels which is why I loved the private room option here with the shared bath. The facilities were clean and well maintained. There was a huge kitchen with lots of supplies for cooking which made is super convenient to save money on food. The rooms themselves were super clean/nice and plenty of space for our luggage. The bathrooms were clean and private, never had an issues with having to wait for people either. Downstairs they offered drinks, food and breakfast for purchase in a shared common area which was also nice. I felt super safe here and receptionist were there to help if you needed anything. Free parking and easy place to find! Would 10/10 recommend staying here if you have the chance!

Loved our staying

I stayed in the standard area of The Barn as a solo traveler and felt very safe during my stay! I stayed for two nights. Both nights my dorm was full, but the second night I found myself as the only woman with less-than-courteous dorm mates. The Barn staff was helpful in finding me a new dorm, which I really appreciated. I would stay here again.

Beautiful property, everything is new and modern. We enjoyed our stay here. Keep in mind, it is a hostel style property and was a little more noisy, even in our private room, as other guests were moving about the hallways and closing doors all night to use the bathroom and such. It was not bad at all, just something that should probably be expected at this type of property. With that being said, we would certainly stay here again.
