Friendly staff let us change date 1 day before and also book additional night. Big shower and nice river view. Clean facilities as well as and love additional large garbage bin in car park, to dispose additional rubbish

This hotel is one of the best we have stayed at, we continue to stay at Palm Court Port Macquarie because of it’s closeness to all the tourists amenities and it’s close to the shops as well.

Whilst the room was clean and comfortable I was very disappointed that I did not see anyone in reception on my arrival or departure. I was not impressed that there appeared to be no wheelchair access or elevators. The site states 24-hour check-in however on my arrival the door was locked. When I rang the number, I was told I was sent a text message with instructions, but I was not sent a text message. The person who answered the phone sounded like I had inconvenienced him which I felt was an unacceptable greeting when you work with the public and visitors to their town - you want them to feel welcome so they will come back. I had no interaction with staff - not even 'hello'. You are providing a service to people, and you want them to return I have to say I am hesitant to stay at this motel again. It wasn't a cheap motel. The fact you have not catered to people with physical disabilities is unacceptable. The entry is no less than at least 15 stairs and steep. I had to go up two flights of stairs and then walk along a very long corridor to get to my room which was at the end of the corridor. Had I been disabled access to my room would not have been easy. In fact, I wouldn't have been able to access my room because I was travelling alone. This motel is not recommended for anyone with a physical disability major or minor. A lot of improvements need to be made to ensure everyone can stay at this motel.
