Great location, just 5 mins walk to Ueno Station / Subway with restaurants, ,shopping stores, supermarket, convenience stores nearby. Room is spacious. The in suite Washer / Dryer is a plus for this family trip. Friendly staffs . The only minor comment is the house keeping is just so so.

It’s our family’s first time staying in ueno neighborhood. We visited Japan and other prefectures before, however this trip was focused just Tokyo. We wanted a more spacious room with a laundry machine and small kitchenette. Also, we wanted to be away from the busy streets and crowds but also close enough to all the other attractions by train or taxi. Tabi Ueno checked all of these. Our room was clean and spacious for Tokyo standards. We stayed one week in July. Japan summers are hot and humid so having a washer/dryer machine in our room was priceless. The apartment provides detergent for one load but you can easily purchase your own at 7-11 or family mart which are easily accessible from every street near the hotel. The location is close to Ueno station with several train lines. It’s walking distance to Ameokyo Street with plenty of restaurants, malls and shopping. I always find Tokyo to be a bit overwhelming with the crowds and shops. I thought Ueno would be somewhat less crowded but it is slightly less. The room was cleaned once midweek of our stay which was perfect. They provided a handheld vacuum which came in handy. Plenty of clean towels, slippers, cups, refrigerator and pajamas are provided.

It was an excellent accommodation for a family. Room was big enough and was very clean. The room isn’t as big as it looked on the photos. Only problem was that the curtain to separate the bedroom blocked the aircon and made the bedroom very hot so we ended us not using the curtain. Staff was nice and great location. It was a bit pricey but definitely will stay again.

Enjoyed staying there just some details that doesn’t give it a perfect score 1 should’ve got accesss code before date not making phone calls in front of door 2 sewer smell from kitchen sink was obvious other than that everything else was fine

Absolutely delighted that we chose TABI Ueno for our first stay in Japan. The hotel is spotless, the rooms are well equipped (fridge, freezer, kettle, crockery, hairdryer, humidifier), the showers are amazing, the beds are very comfortable and there is excellent air conditioning. The location is ideal: only a few minutes walk to Ueno station for connection to all the major tourist areas in Tokyo. Ueno itself is an ideal base for exploration: there is plenty to do in this district too. Finally, the staff are so helpful and kind. Nothing was an issue for them and they conducted themselves with the utmost professionalism. Five stars plus from Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️➕

We stayed here at end of Tokyo trip for easy access to Narita Skyliner. Hotel was great and location, a quick walk to the market which has a great range of food and shopping while being far enough away from busy streets.

Very clean and beautiful space! Our hosts were very hospitable. We really enjoyed our stay at TABI Ueno.
