The reception didn’t exist and there was no staff to help us throughout the stay. There was no place to get food and not even a place to buy water or ask anyone for anything. The power kept going out and AC kept not working and we’d have to basically go out and yell until the guys doing construction would come turn it on. They need an actual front desk and staff to actually be present and help. No one spoke English either.

Por debajo del promedio The air-conditioner wasnt working properly and when we complained the 2nd day the caretaker asked us to request for a refund and leave the hotel .We were ok with it but realised the hotel policy on the websites we used for booking had stated that they was no refund for our booking
for whatsoever reason. When we informed the caretaker he insisted we cancel w the website which we refused. He called a colleague and later agreed to settle our money for the remaining days we were supposed to stay.
We left the hotel and a few minutes later he followed us into town and stopped us and started making accusations that we didnt pay the hotel and we were frauds and started issueing threats stating he will report us and will not cross the border back home .We tried to show him the proof of payment send by the booking website and visa card used but despite all that he kept insulting and humiliating us in public. The worst of his reaction was when he told us to leave Mozambique and never to visit his country again (we felt discriminated and attacked because we were foreigners). This incident traumatized our experience and visit.
