I had a two night stay, I’d booked on line so had never spoke to the owners. Paul was most accommodating in finding me a ground floor single when he could see I struggled with stairs (I’m old, ill and fat!) my room was well appointed, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very nice, nothing was any trouble, I don’t eat beans or tomatoes, that was no problem to Paul, he still filled my plate. He offered everything you’d want for a good breakfast. I was in Warrington for my father’s funeral. Paul was sympathetic and helpful but maintained a smile and a sense of humour that was greatly appreciated. All in all, a great place to stay, thank you for reading. Gaz.

Very pleasant stay, the room was clean, although the bed was a little bit too near the bathroom door. Paul was an excellent host, also cooked a very good breakfast. Managed to park next to the property. All in all a very good stay.

The team were lovely and the breakfast excellent. The room was a little basic and the wifi wasn't very good but it was clean, tidy and had everything you would need. Overall excellent value so thank you very much.

Convenient location for my needs. Very nice freshly cooked breakfast. Had to remove plastic mattress cover to make sleep possible. Good communication and helpful staff.

Victoria Lodge is a fantastic place to stay...the location in the middle of Stockton Heath couldn't be more convenient for numerous pubs, restaurants, a variety of shops, Alexander Park and Walton Gardens. There are all kinds of opportunities for walks nearby (public footpaths through the Cheshire countryside, the tow path of the Bridgewater Canal and the Trans Pennine Way). Paul, the hotel owner, is incredibly accommodating and helpful, and he cooks the most amazing full English breakfast which is included with the accommodation. Highly recommended.

Owner extremely nice guy and very helpful. Beautifully cooked quality fresh breakfast. In a lovely location for bars and amenities. For the price extremely good value for money. Will definitely return.

Just good altogether.

Very good place to stay on a budget. Excellent breakfast and in general everything you need for a short stay was there. The lady who looked after me was very friendly and made herself available if needed.
