Outstanding stay and close to everything. Room is fantastic and staff was helpful. However, please know that there is NOT a swimming pool as the on-line photo leads you to believe. It is a reflecting pool that you can get wet in but that is about all. Would definitely recommend this location to anyone.

Excellent location top of the line property. Ample, impeccable, well stocked with top level appliances and kitchen utensils. 5 star stay. Walking distance to The Old Ebbit, the best restaurant in DC. We loved it.

This is not a hotel. It's someone's apartment. This could have been clearer. Also my credit card was charged before I arrived which is not aligned with 'pay at property' so now my personal credit card was charged when it should have been my work credit card. Don't stay here if you are travelling for business.

Fantástico Our stay at the Roost was amazing. The staff was extremely helpful and so nice. Anytime we needed anything it was taken care of. It was so wonderful having a washer and dryer in our room. We were close to so many great restaurants and two Metro stations. I told my husband I was ruined because now I don't want to stay anywhere unless it's like the Roost. Washington DC has the friendliest and most helpful people of anywhere we have ever been.

For an affordable stay in a convenient part of DC to be in for sightseeing, this was perfect. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and we enjoyed taking the bicycles provided here out to visit the museums. Would stay here again!

No operational safe in room for stay. The “reflection” pool is not a swimming pool, its only for looks. Given different times for common area use (Grill), depending on who is working. Rats problem so take your trash out on 3rd floor….

Will definitely stay here again, everything was top tier. Already planning on coming back after the new year, close to everything you'd want to see and visit. The staff is amazing also!!!
