Staff were really nice and friendly. Food was really good. It was nice that we had the option to use the swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi (which were excellent)

Breakfast was great. The staff were excellent, however the room was really small. Parking was really tight and we were lucky to find a spot that blocked in other cars so we needed to hand the keys offer to staff to move our car if needed. The swimming pool was small for that size of hotel therefore really busy. The building looked really tired and is in need of refurbishment. 4/10

Evening meal and breakfast were excellent with great choices. Breakfast would have been nicer if there was some black pudding to go with the other fab offerings.
Wonderful location as there is a tram stop opposite the hotel and a small amount of on sight parking. All staff are very helpful

Fabulous staff throughout the place in every single role and contact - huge thank you to them for coordinating and bringing out a birthday cake whilst staff sang, accommodating significant dietary requirements without any problem whatsoever and the chef ringing to discuss on his day off - genuine helpfulness from everyone. Great and hot sauna/ jacuzzi with small pool. Lovely large downstairs social space. More than satisfactory food for a dated traditional HB weekend hotel basis and decent value. Excellent standard of entertainment but so so loud that we left it early in to the second night and sat in the large bar social area. It spoiled it and we know others felt the same. My mum said she wouldn’t return because of that but of this group’s three hotels (? Lyndene and Claremont?) I preferred this one.

The breakfast menu was very good overall hot and very fresh , the rooms were excellent very clean .
The staff were very friendly and helpful, my partner took advantage of the swimming pool and hot tub he was very pleased with both of these facilities ,
