Staff was great and helpful

The first, middle and last thing you will observe here is the friendliness and kindness of the staff. The natural beauty throughout the resort is woven with such care that every stroll is a communion with nature. The manager was quick to address and meet our need to change cottages. And all just a short Grab ride from the heart of Ubud. The pool area was a sanctuary and all areas blend seamlessly with the natural surroundings.

We had an incredible stay at Lumina! The grounds are beautifully kept, with great attention to detail. Our cottage was perfect- very private and well decorated. The cottage was able to open to the outdoors, but also had great AC for when it was too warm and you wanted to close things up. Very nice breakfast each day. Staff were incredibly professional, friendly and helpful. Beautiful pools throughout the property that felt very private. The property is thoughtfully laid out so you barely notice that other guests are there. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

I enjoyed two very relaxing nights at Lumina, it wasn’t long enough! It’s tucked away (an hours walk) or 20 mins by scooter from the hustle and bustle of Ubud city centre. I only ventured into the centre once and spent the rest of my time at the retreat. Breakfast is provided but you’ll need to find lunch and dinner, I went into the city for the first night and had dinner and brought food back for the following day so that I could make the most of the serene atmosphere on Lumina. The early morning yoga sessions are a great way to start the day. Then massage, swim, read and repeat! Will definitely be going back for at least 4 nights next time.

We stayed at one of the wooden cottages with a river view and we did not leave until we checked out. the sound of the water was so peaceful, I had the best night of sleep that I've had in Bali. The food was great, the staff was friendly, room was clean with really cool carvings, paintings and Indonesian architecture. I'm not into yoga but my girlfriend loves it and she was really impressed with the instructor. Great place for a romantic getaway, would highly recommend staying here.
