Travellers should be aware that there are no chairs with legs at this property (examine photos carefully). We ate all meals sitting on the floor. Any work we had to do on our laptops was done on the floor. If we played cards in the evening together, this was also done sitting on the floor. There are only two bean bags, so if four of us wanted to relax, two of us had to go to sit on our beds. There was nowhere to unpack our suitcases - no wardrobes, drawers or shelves, no bedside lockers. There are many wardrobes in the property but all of these were locked for staff use. The location is great and the accommodation is very authentic, but we just didn't find it comfortable or relaxing. We found the communication and notices from the owners terse and penal - they assume everyone is going to be the worst kind of guest and do not trust that guests will obey the rules.
