Code they send is for every door including entry to hotel, laundry, room, etc. Not clear in their messages. This location seemed better/more open than the one at Kaampi. Well equipped laundry room with laundry tablets, 2 washers, 2 dryers, and extra towels. Room has no closet or dresser just a hanging rod and knobs. Room has a microwave and small refrigerator (no freezer). Common kitchen/dining area was large, with dishwasher, microwave, stove. Entry is a bit hidden, you have to go thru a short tunnel into a courtyard. Area is good central location near markets. Would feel more secure if door had an inside lock like a deadbolt, but there is only the digital lock. They also provided a few souvenirs like a little tote bag, but the camera had no film or batteries (available in laundry room). There was a sauna but locked and coast extra.

We really enjoyed our stay in this perfectly located hotel. It was very comforting and helpful to have the WhatsApp communication throughout our stay. The room was clean and compact, everything we needed was available to us. Apart from the room being slightly too warm (perhaps we couldn’t figure out the HVAC system) everything was in great condition. The price point was excellent and it was perfect for a weekend stay. Highly recommend for a few nights in Helsinki.

Why does no one say there is no reception here? You check in on your phone or you can't get into the hotel. I didn't know that until I showed up. I would also note that the air conditioner wouldn't move at all: I set the temperature to 20 but it stayed at 22.5 the whole time. This led me to open the window to get cooler air in, but the opening is so small, it had minimal effect. It did, however, allow noise in, which meant at 5 a.m. this morning the garbage guys were dragging cans out over stones and through an echoing passageway for an hour. I have no idea why they start work at 5 a.m. Had the air conditioning worked so the window was closed, it would have reduced the noise quite a bit. I'd upload the video I took if I could.
The room was cramped but fine, the location was very good, the other guests were certainly quiet.
