A beautiful hotel

I would stay here again. It’s beautiful and well managed.

We liked the hotel as very convenient with all the facilities and free passes for the bus which helped by staff to explained where to take and all.

It was such a nice and clean hotel! Also loved it being on the edge of Banff.

Excellent hotel, really well managed, comfortable, stylish, friendly staff. Hot pools were fun, everything worked as it should. At the end of the town but hotel provides free bus tickets and public transport is really convenient so really no big deal. Driving and having to park downtown would have been far more hassle

Location is great; far/quiet end of Banff but transit is virtually at the doorstep, walking back from town is totally doable. 2 restaurants on site and convenience store across the street. Overall hotel is clean but we had issues with housekeeping. Left note (and tip $) to request linen change after Night 2 - tip taken but linen was not changed. Went to Reception to enquire. They were very helpful and Housekeeping came back that evening, BUT the new bedding had stains on them. Yes, multiple stains.

Ideal place to stay in Banff with plenty of parking. They provide you with a complimentary buss pass so you don’t need to drive anywhere. The bus stop is right outside and takes 5 minutes to downtown. The hot jacuzzi is amazing and the views are amazing. The rooms are spacious as we had 2 queen beds and ample room to walk around- the bathroom was also huge. Asked for an iron and that arrived within minutes !! Can’t get better than that. For anyone visiting Banff, I would definitely recommend hotel canoe.

Okay stay

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Canoe & Suites and would absolutely recommend it. Check-in was quick and easy, and from the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome. One of the most memorable parts of our stay was a unique touch I haven’t experienced at other hotels. At check-in, they gave us small containers of fresh coffee, milk, and tea, and throughout our stay we could stop by the front desk to pick up more whenever we wanted. It was such a thoughtful idea, and the coffee was honestly delicious. Little details like that made the stay feel extra special. The mountain view suite was definitely worth it. Waking up to those breathtaking mountain views every morning was unforgettable. The hotel is located on a busy road, so you do hear some traffic when you step out onto the balcony, but the scenery more than makes up for it. The restaurant attached to the hotel was outstanding. Every meal we had was excellent, and we ended up eating there every day because we enjoyed it so much. The only area for improvement would be the rooms themselves. They could use some updating, as the carpet felt a bit dated and the air conditioner was fairly noisy. A few renovations would make the rooms match the overall quality of the property. Overall, we had a fantastic experience. The beautiful views, thoughtful amenities, excellent restaurant, and friendly staff made this a memorable stay, and we would definitely come back.
