Location is fantastic and staff lovely. I liked that you could grab a coffee whenever you want. Shower was great and nice sized clean towels. Would definitely stay again

Easy check in anytime you like. Nice rooms, and a great location. Metro is right outside, only a few metro stops from the city centre. Would 100% recommend.

Note: I only gave the staff 3 stars because there was no staff to deal with - everything was automated. But other than that, City Box is a great place to stay in Kallio. It was my second time there and will happily stay there again.

If you are not familiar with the Citybox hotel chain, like I wasn't, you will be surprised by their extremely lean structure and staff. Having said that, I don't think their obsession with efficiency caused any problems with our stay. Checking in and out is extremely fast and easy, the communal kitchen is convenient and clean, the few staff members we came across were very friendly and helpful, and the premises were brand new. Rooms were initially clean and functional (although not cleaned again for any of the other 5 nights we spent there). The lack of a TV in our room wasn't particularly a big deal, but including separate hygiene products for hair and body, as well as a hair conditioner, would have been great. The particular location was not the best for visiting the city, but there were a good number of restaurants and shops around.
