Hotel Domicil Berlin By Golden Tulip (Radisson Hotel Berlin Charlottenburg)

I chose this hotel for it's location and the roof terrace, both were great in early June of 2026. The staff were helpful and caring, not too savvy about tourist opportunities. I needed a 4AM cab and they had tech trouble getting one. A staff person came downstairs with me and I ended up in one waiting for someone else as a 2nd car was called... I must maintain a GF/DF diet, so studied the breakfast spread, and saw that there were options to enjoy having it. They provide small GF rolls upon request that take time to be baked. They are redoing the AC: it wasn't working during my stay. The room was stuffy so I kept the unscreened window open. Street noise, but no bugs, entered. It was fine. The entrance to the hotel is just to the left of the MacDonald's at Kantsstrasse 111. There's another hotel, on the other side of MD's! The two hotels and MD's share the exact same address. This hotel is changing over from Domicil by Golden Tulip to Radisson. I booked into Domicil but got welcomes from Radisson without explanation! About reception: it's on the top floor next to the roof terrace. push the button on the street level, and get buzzed in to the elevator to the top floor, then use a separate internal elevator to go to the floor where your room is. Entering is only this way, but you can exit your room by going up to the top and then down the express elevator to the street, or by using the stairs to go down. I'd gladly stay here again, asking about AC first. Quirky nice place.

This is by far the worse stay I've ever had in my life. The rooms were very smelly and cleaning barely acceptable, they forgot to empty garbage for a few days. We stayed 5 nights for a convention. Stay away!!!!! Wifi wasn't working for the first 3 days and the staff wasnt helpful about it. I contacted Hotels.com and they weren't able to do anything!

Was there one week for business and the internet did not work one day…. Very bad when you need to work. My group and I made the comment most day to the counter desk. They kept saying they were fixing it bure it actually never worked not even one of the 6 days.There also was a bad smell in the room because the rooms are very old.
