There was a very loud 'beach party' event, which happens every Tuesday. The noise reached rooms, and went on until very late. The event means no room service is available, and the only dining option was to join a loud party. This would be fine if wanting this type of experience, but while travelling for business, it was not ok. I feel like the hotel should warn guests at booking that this is happening so they can decide if it's what they're looking for.
Staff are rarely stationed at reception, and you have to wait for someone to spot you to come and help.
There were no irons in the rooms, and there were none available to use from housekeeping when needed - again, challenging as a business traveller.
