In a world where we are increasingly challenged to strive for environmental sustainability, particularly around climate change, supporting social resources as well as economic growth, our Summer Camp has been carefully designed to introduce students to the needs of others, whilst caring for themselves, and the environment. Thailand leads the way in Southeast Asia in the drive to achieve sustainability, and with Bangkok as it’s capital city, there could not be a more inspiring backdrop for our Summer Camp that focuses on this very issue

The beautiful lakeside campus of AISL Harrow Bangkok is in the capital’s Don Mueang district and boasts a spacious and green 35 acre site

Students will enjoy the stunning garden campus which provides the ultimate indoor and outdoor learning spaces, a comfortable boarding village with four boarding houses and superb sporting facilities

Whether they are participating in water sports on the lake or participating in problem solving workshops, students will be motivated and stimulated by the impressive campus

The Summer Camp programme will use the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDG) framework as a tool to give students a greater understanding of how we are all globally connected

There will be a sequence of progressively challenging activities, and students will be encouraged to problem solve using their own initiative, while taking into account the impact their decisions will have on their environment and themselves

The activities list will include:
• Fun and challenging problem-solving initiatives
• Canoeing and water sports on the lake
• Engaging workshops
• Robotics
• Public speaking exercises
• Team games and sports
• Exciting and informative excursions

On Day Four, students will be introduced to the peak challenge and develop specific skills through three workshops including:
• Basic electronics and model construction skills
• Marine biodiversity
• Crop rotation problem solving task

On Day Five, students will use their ROV robots in the water. Students will have developed the following skills:
• Building an underwater ROV robot
• Completing an underwater farming challenge
• Problem-solving skills
• Social awareness and sustainability

Moonlight Theatre is a unique and exciting part of our Summer Camp programme, designed to encourage outdoor exploration. This activity offers a wide range of possibilities under the stars, including stargazing, storytelling, and group performances

Our summer camp also offers a range of activities. The Human Library is an excellent opportunity for students to gain a better understanding of themselves and others by sharing their unique stories, promoting empathy and understanding among their peers

The camp also includes daily DEAR Time sessions, which enable students to explore the connections between the activities, the leadership goals of the camp, and their own experience and learning

Our Responsible Leaders Camp will provide an insightful and fun experience for students who want to learn and develop as responsible leaders of the future. The programme will be engaging and there’s no doubt that students will be talking about this exciti
