Qué esperar
Enjoy one day tour in Wakayama! Your first stop is Wakayama Castle, which was built in 1585 under the command of Toyotomi Hideyoshi. In the Edo period, it flourished as an important base for the Tokugawa Clan, which turned out great numbers of generals. Now it serves as a symbol of Wakayama City, and its tower offers great views of the whole town. With approximately 600 famous cherry blossom trees, the castle is also a popular cherry blossom viewing spot in spring. There is a zoo next to the castle, which is sectioned into a Fairy Tale Garden and a Waterfowl Garden where you can take a stroll and try feeding some of the animals. Spend two hours of free time at the Kuroshio Market and get some fresh seafood for lunch. Next, you will visit Kimiidera Temple. It is a striking piece of Buddhist architecture, with a brilliant red facade that stands out against its green mountain surroundings. Furthermore, you will stroll through the streets of Saifuzaki. The fishing port of Saizaki is reminiscent of Italy's World Heritage "Amalfi Coast." Your final stop is Rinku Premium Outlets. If you wish to shop for hours, you can end up the tour here, or you can return to Mainichi Shimbun Building with the guide
