If you’ve only got one day to explore the beautiful Phi Phi Island, this full day excursion covers all the must-see sites. Visit Shark Point, Bamboo Island, Mosquito Island, Monkey Beach, Viking Cave, Pileh Lagoon, Loh Samah Bay, and Maya Bay. You’ll also get to see the amazing sunset views to end the day.
Our first stop is Shark Point. Named after the black-tipped sharks swimming in the area, Shark Point is a popular snorkeling spot among professional and amateur divers.
Our next stop is Bamboo Island, a pristine strip of land great for relaxing and snorkeling. Wade in the shallow waters and catch glimpses of the colorful fishes or lie down by the shore and soak up the sun before we climb aboard the boat and head to our next stop.
Take in the glorious limestone cliffs and azure waters at Mosquito Island, or Koh Yung. Don’t let its name worry you; the insects only come out in the evening. What you can look forward to are the spectacular rock formations, small quiet beaches and clear water for snorkeling.
We’ll head to Nui Bay next. This tiny little alcove surrounded by rock formations is a picturesque spot to relax and swim in. Then we’ll make our way to Monkey Beach to visit the friendly primates – but don’t get too close! We’ll also stop by Viking Cave, known for the Scandinavian-esque ships painted on its walls, and Pileh Lagoon, another stunning locale with emerald waters and towering cliffs.
Next, we’ll head to Loh Samah Bay where we’ll dive into the cool waters and swim with the colorful fish. After spending most of the afternoon in the water, we’ll board the boat and make our way to the famous Maya Bay, known for its appearance in the 1999 film The Beach. We’ll circle the scenic bay, taking in the gorgeous scenery and watching the sunset, before making our way back.

Optamos por el tour privado para mayor flexibilidad. El recorrido es bueno, pero lamentablemente no fuimos a la Isla Mosquito debido a que estuvo cerrada hace 5 años, como lo mencionó nuestro capitán de barco, el Sr. Rob, pero extrañamente estaba incluido en el paquete. Tampoco fuimos a Maya Bay Beach, ya que también nos dijeron que estaba cerrado, aunque se suponía que era lo más destacado de nuestro recorrido. Fuimos a la bahía en lugar de tomar algunas fotos. En general, el viaje sigue siendo agradable, pero podría haber sido genial si hubiéramos hecho todo incluido como se menciona en las descripciones del paquete. Las descripciones tampoco mencionaron que debemos pagar una tarifa de entrada adicional de 200 THB para la isla Phi Phi Leh. Solo mencionó alrededor de 400 THB por la tarifa de entrada a Maya Bay. De todos modos, estamos agradecidos con Trip.guru por el buen proceso de la gira. Todavía recomiendo este recorrido a otros, pero actualice el paquete turístico incluido, ya que podría romper las expectativas de alguien o sorpresas no deseadas más adelante. Gracias
Tuvimos el placer de hacer un recorrido en bote de cola larga guiado y capitaneado por Rob. El clima era realmente malo el día de la gira. Pero Rob nos cuidó adecuadamente navegando lento y constante, lo que nos ayudó a no tener mareos. Su comunicación reconfortante y mano de obra experimentada nos ayudan a llegar a la orilla sin ningún problema. Grita a Rob. “No más olas, yayy”!!! Esa es su manera de consolarnos y asegurarnos que no hay más olas en nuestro camino.
Privado y puede ir a donde quiera: planee con el conductor del bote.. todo tan amable y agradable día de bote y nadar y bucear... amo la isla Phi phi pero necesita reservar su lancha rápida o ferry temprano y terminar a las 2 pm bote porque el último La lancha rápida es a las 15:00.
