North of Tokyo lie the beautiful mountains of Zao, popularly known as a winter sports paradise during the cold season, and a choice destination for sightseeing at any other time of the year. There is no better way to see the magnificence of the nature that surrounds the mountains than through the windows of your Zao Roeway cable car that takes you from the base of Zao to the top of Mount Jizo. The relaxing cable car ride is an incredible experience in itself, and one that you shouldn't miss during your stay in Japan! When you get to the top, explore the Zao National Park and take a dip in the famous Zao Onsen as you gaze out into the scenery before you. Throughout the different seasons, the clusters of snow covered trees in the winter give way to the clear summer skies, and the lush greenery in the spring transform into the earthy red tones during fall.

En la parte superior del teleférico de Zao, es muy conveniente reservar boletos para viajar gratis. Hace mucho frío y viento en invierno, así que manténgase abrigado. Es un teleférico a gran escala para varias personas con menos asientos.
Aunque no hay árboles de hielo en Zao en verano, también tiene una vista diferente, es mejor dar un paseo en invierno.
