Booking Requirements

  • Before making a reservation, please make sure the International Driving Permit (IDP) issued by your home country is eligible for car rental service in Taiwan
  • The driver or lessee must be at least aged 20+ with a driver's license valid for at least 12 month(s) before the expiration date
  • Taiwanese citizens: Taiwanese ID, driver’s license, and credit card (valid at least 6 months)
  • Non-Taiwanese travelers: Passport, English IDP (International Driving Permit), valid local driver’s license issued by the country authorizing your IDP, and credit card (valid at least 6 months)
  • For visitors from Hong Kong and Macao: Passport and Valid local driver’s license
  • For Japanese driver: If you have a Japanese driver's license, you can drive a car in Taiwan by carrying the original Chinese version of the license and the Chinese translation of the license
  • Please note: In compliance with the regulation policy of Taiwan, drivers who hold an International Driving Permit issued in Korea, Thailand and China will be unable to rent a car service in Taiwan
  • National international driver’s license and national driver’s license in Taiwan permit situation, please take the latest announcement of the Taiwan Directorate General of Highways

  • Please note: To protect your rights and interests, please call the police immediately and keep the scene when you encounter a traffic accident or car theft. Do not settle the accident in private and please notify the operator at once

Additional information

  • Please fill the gas tank upon returning the vehicle
  • Please follow traffic rules and regulations. The operator is not responsible for any damages or traffic violations incurred by the lessee
  • Driving while intoxicated by alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited
  • Please check the train number on Taiwan High Speed Rail and enter your train number for departure at the checkout page
  • Seniors aged over 65 with Taiwanese ID can apply for elder ticket on site
  • Children, whose heights are 115cm or above but less than 12 years of age, may purchase Child Tickets; provided that those whose heights are 150 cm or above shall present their IDs
  • The pick up date for car rental must be the same as travel date
  • Voucher Types Description
  • Collect physical ticket for THSR
  • You can present either a printed or mobile voucher for car rental
  • The operator will confirm your booking to mail your THSR ticket within 24 hr.
  • If the selected THSR time shift or car is not available, the operator will contact you to rearrange your schedule. Cancellation and a full refund will be issued if there is no suitable time shift for rearrangement

  • Holiday surcharge: Weekend TWD 200, 3 days Holiday TWD 400, Chinese new year TWD 1200 per day
  • The rent doesn't include fuels, please proceed to the gas station and fill up the vehicle's tank. Please refuel the car to the same fuel level upon picking up when you return. Or the operator will charge for fuel plus an additional fee TWD 300
  • All surcharges are payable in cash directly to the operator
