Located just 10 km northeast of Danang’s city center is the natural preserve of Son Tra Peninsula. Lush, dense forests cover the area, including the 693 meter high Son Tra Mountain, colloquially known as Monkey Mountain. From above, the mountain looks like a mushroom cap, with Danang’s long stretch of white sandy beach forming the stem.
