I had a wonderful experience joining the Making Lantern Class with Lantern Boat Trip. The lantern-making workshop was fun, engaging, and easy to follow, even for beginners. The instructor was patient and explained each step clearly, allowing everyone to create their own beautiful handmade lantern. After the class, the lantern boat trip was truly magical. Cruising along the river while admiring the colorful lanterns reflecting on the water created a peaceful and unforgettable atmosphere. The view was especially stunning in the evening when the town lit up with hundreds of glowing lanterns. The combination of a cultural hands-on activity and a relaxing boat ride made this experience unique and memorable. It was a great way to learn about local traditions while enjoying the beauty of the city. I highly recommend this activity to anyone visiting Hoi An, whether you're traveling with family, friends, or as a couple.

My guide was very friendly and patient. She taught me how to make a beautiful paper lantern where I could write my wishes before releasing it on the river, and she also helped me create a lantern to take home as a souvenir. I really enjoyed this workshop, and the boat ride was definitely the highlight of the experience. The atmosphere was magical, especially with all the lanterns lighting up the river at sunset. This is a wonderful cultural experience and something I highly recommend to anyone visiting Hoi An. A memorable activity that combines creativity, local traditions, and beautiful scenery.

Tuve una excelente experiencia haciendo nuestras propias linternas para llevar a casa y las otras linternas para colocar en el río. Mi profesora fue encantadora. Y el paseo en barco fue un buen detalle para finalizar la experiencia al colocar nuestras linternas encendidas en el río.

Le was and amazing guide for my family. She was patient and communicated well in both English and Vietnamese. Our kids loved writing down their wishes and setting it along the river. We highly recommend this excursion!

Making a lantern during our trip to Hoi An was a wonderful experience. Our instructor, Le, was very skilled and enthusiastic, offering clear guidance throughout. There was a wide range of materials and designs to personalise our lanterns creatively. The boat ride along the river at sunset added a peaceful and scenic touch to the activity. Overall, the prices were reasonable, making it a fun and memorable cultural experience. the location is easy to find.

Le was great! She helped me make my lantern and it was just me so I got plenty of help/attention! I got to make one to take home then made 2 that went in the water during the boat ride. She also offered to make me a juice (I love this about Vietnam) so I got to sip on fresh watermelon juice while making my lanterns. She also explained the history of lanterns in Hoi An and recommended things for me to do during my stay. would recommend to anyone!!

Amazing experience in Hoi An! The lantern-making class was fun and hands-on, and I loved taking my handmade lantern home. The boat ride on the river was beautiful, especially with all the colorful lanterns at sunset. Friendly guide, great organization, and unforgettable memories. Highly recommended!


This was such a wonderful experience for all ages. Everyone really enjoyed seeing their Lanterns come to life, the staff were super helpful and friendly and a great time was had by all.

The lantern makes a great souvenir to take home and we enjoyed a memorable boat ride afterwards.
