Qué esperar
Sumo wrestling, Japan's national sport, boasts a history of over a thousand years. It combines Shinto rituals with competitive spirit, showcasing a unique traditional aesthetic and displays of strength. This activity will take you to an official, authentic tournament venue where you can fully enjoy the intense competition and solemn rituals from designated C-section seating on the second floor.
The competition venue is a officially certified grand sumo tournament hall. In Tokyo it is "Ryogoku Kokugikan" and in Fukuoka it is "Fukuoka International Center," both of which are venues for one of the six national tournaments. On-site, you can not only experience the split-second victories and defeats on the dohyo (ring) up close, but also gain a deeper understanding of the appeal of sumo culture through pre-match rituals, gyoji (referees), and the atmosphere of the audience.
No need to secure tickets yourself. We will reserve officially designated seats for you, allowing you to easily participate in this Japanese traditional event, which is rich in ritual and viewing value.
