In celebration of Singapore’s 60th year of independence, 8M Real Estate is proud to present “Arts in the Alley: Walks of Life”, our inaugural two-day community activation from 16–17 August 2025, taking place at our largest asset cluster along 21 Tanjong Pagar as well as Ann Siang House and KeSa House.

About the Event: “Arts in the Alley” is more than just a celebration. It is a tribute to our heritage and a platform to amplify local voices in the arts and social impact sectors.

Visitors will enjoy immersive experiences through different art mediums including:

  • Interactive art installations by local talents such as dao.o, Natalia Tan, Agatha Lee, and graduating students from LASALLE College of the Arts, curated by Supper House
  • Lighted mural art designed by FACTORY
  • Workshops by registered charities including Singapore Repertory Theatre, Paper Monkey Theatre and the Museum of Food
  • Story telling session/ speaking engagement by Shawn Seah – public author, speaker and advocate for Singapore’s heritage
  • A live poetry session by The Novel Encounter
  • Coffee Rave by Beans & Beats and Live Music performances by Cloud & Party
  • A special SGDreams booth where visitors can pen their hopes and tributes to Singapore

Our tenant community is the heart (and soul!) of 8M ❤️ and they’re bringing the vibes to Arts in the Alley! A feast for the senses, they’re serving it up big for SG60 with specially curated menus showcasing homegrown pride. From bold flavours to creative twists, get ready to eat, sip and celebrate with: The Elephant Room, Papi’s Tacos, Five Oars Coffee Roasters, Night Hawk, Olivia Restaurant & Lounge, Vinflow

Our Objectives:

  • Infuse vibrancy into Tanjong Pagar and surrounding communities through the promotion of arts and heritage
  • Provide a platform for local artists and arts groups to showcase their craft
  • Engage Singapore’s diverse cultural communities and strengthen social cohesion
  • Support communities in need
  • All ticket proceeds will go towards ComChest via SGSHARE
