Qiuquan Cave The total length of the limestone cave is approximately 4,800 meters. One is the “normal route” that takes a leisurely 30-minute tour of the cave, and the other is the exploration route that requires walking down the 40-meter-high vertical cave entrance and other stairs.

Aoiaso Shrine This shrine was founded in 806 (the first year of Datong). The current shrine building was built between 1610 and 1613 in the early Edo period. In 2008, the main hall, cloister, enshrinement hall, worship hall, and tower gate were designated as national treasures. 90% of national and prefectural shrines and temple buildings in Kumamoto Prefecture are located in the Kuma area, so this shrine is considered a representative example.
