In the afterglow of the setting sun, a small boat with a big red lantern hanging high sailed on the sea of Otaru. People on the boat were toasting each other, as if they had traveled through time and space to become the elegant scholars of the Song Dynasty. The river breeze and the bright moon floated in the sea and sky, and they were drinking and chatting happily.

Depart from the most romantic Otaru Port in Hokkaido, Take a boat trip through time and space. Cruise across the Sea of Japan in the afterglow of the setting sun.

2-hour flight, 30 passengers, 12 or more bottles of 1.8-liter sake. Make sure everyone present can have a drink, and if you can drink a lot, you can even have two rounds.

💡Yakatabune is a boat mainly used for banquets. Lanterns are hung on both sides, and passengers can enjoy delicious food and wine while admiring the scenery along the way.

The co-organizer of this event is Takano Shuzo, a local sake merchant in Otaru, Hokkaido. The sense of wine selection is very online and widely praised by local residents!

This sake merchant carefully selects sake from all over Japan (guaranteed to have more than 18 bottles) and pairs it with carefully selected side dishes. Hang festive lanterns on both sides of the ship and sail everyone to the great waterway!
