Some trails may be closed in winter, but Jigokudani in the snow is still full of charm! Then go to the nearby Oyunuma to experience the steaming sulfur springs. In the afternoon, visit Nix Marine Park, an aquarium designed with Danish castles as inspiration. There are more than 400 marine creatures and penguin parade performances.
