- The town of Avignon is about 1hr drive from Aix-en-Provence and it's somewhere that I really like to take visitors, as it is full of history!
- We will do a walking tour of Avignon where you can see the famous pope Palace dated 14th century.
- We will make sure to stop on top of Le Rocher des Doms that overlooks the Rhône river and the very old Pont d'Avignon from the 12th century. You might know the famous nursery rhyme about dancing on the Pont D'Avignon
- Afterwards wine tasting at the famous Chateauneuf du Pape
