Host introduction Hello everyone, I am Yin, the host of Eatwith. As a senior Chinese teacher (fluent in English and Japanese), a senior Chinese pastry chef, I like delicious and exquisite Chinese dim sum. I hope to use my expertise as a tea artist to make and taste Chinese dim sum in a studio decorated with Chinese floral art, and serve you a fragrant Chinese tea. Here, you can not only visit the new Shikumen lanes with the style of old Shanghai and experience the lane life, but also meet Chinese dim sum lovers from all over the world.

Experience highlights As a foreigner who has just come to Shanghai or a Chinese who has lived in Shanghai for a long time, participating in our cultural walk and tea tasting activities in the intangible cultural heritage teahouse will take you through time and space. In the unique teahouse, you will experience the charm of traditional Chinese tea ceremony and taste the aroma and taste of famous tea. At the same time, we will introduce the stories behind the intangible cultural heritage to give you a deeper understanding of China’s rich and colorful traditional art. Whether you are immersed in the exploration of cultural heritage or looking for an oasis to relax, the cultural walk and tea tasting in the intangible cultural heritage teahouse will open a door to the real Shanghai for you!

In this walk, Mr. Zhang Zuozhi, a former librarian of the Shanghai Library, will lead everyone on a 3-kilometer walking tour to explore an area with a variety of Chinese and Western architectural styles. There are garden villa clusters, high-rise modern buildings, Western-style mansions and traditional Chinese alley houses. At the end of this cultural walk, we will go to the National Intangible Cultural Heritage Project - Chaozhou Kung Fu Tea Art Shanghai Inheritance Base, enjoy the tea art performance of Chaozhou Kung Fu Tea, taste a cup of welcoming tea, take a break, and communicate. (This event may be attended by friends from various countries, and the cultural walk is accompanied by English and Japanese translations)
