Experience Paihia's marine heritage with the Canterbury Wreck Dive by the PADI 5* Center. Day starts at 7:45 am at the dive shop on Williams Road. Equipment setup and paperwork done before a boat departs at 8:30 am from Paihia wharf. Guests in Russell can arrange pickup at the wharf at 8:45 am. Cruise through islands spotting Dolphins, Penguins, Seals, and marine birds en route to Deep Water Cove, a 30-minute journey. Dive the ex HMNZS Canterbury wreck before a reef area lunch/snorkeling break. Explore Bay of Islands reef dive sites with caves, arches, and swim-throughs in Deep Water Cove's marine reserve. Cruise back to Paihia, arriving around 3:30 pm. Immerse in Paihia's marine history, witness underwater sights, and create unforgettable memories on this full-day dive expedition.
