If you need a place to stay that is extremely close to Chinatown/Binondo, this hotel is a convenient option. However, the overall atmosphere inside feels quite gloomy, and there is a noticeable musty or poorly ventilated feel in some areas. The facilities are clearly dated, and the air conditioning in the rooms is quite weak. Hopefully, the cooling in the rooms could match the strong air conditioning in the lobby, as the rooms can become warm. Fortunately, a fan is also provided. On the positive side, there is a mineral water dispenser available in the hallway, which is convenient for guests. Security is also reassuring, as staff are present even during the early morning hours, making the place feel safe. Overall, it depends on your preferences and priorities when choosing a place to stay.

The check-in process was smooth. They also have free Wi-Fi, and you can refill water as well. The place is clean, and the beds are nice—I was able to sleep comfortably. A few notes: at first, the hallway felt a bit eerie, maybe because it’s an old building. Our room had another door that I believe connects to the next room, which made me feel a little anxious. You can also hear people talking outside or from the neighboring rooms. Overall, everything was good.
