The rooms and staff were great tho the AC was a challenge. Hotel controls the temperature. We were there during the record heat wave so they get a pass as Europeans dont normally see those temps in June. The hotel is close to public transport and if you stay 2 nights or more you can get a pass to ride in Innsbruck. The breakfast buffet is good and the facility is nice. My only complaint is they have this great restaurant and only 1 cook. I was told it was just our dumb luck he was off when we were there. We had been traveling all day in 98 degree weather and starving. To tired to go out and all they had to offer was pizza one step above a frozen one. Come on Hilton hire another cook!

The terrace was closed for renovation. No telling how long the paper on the terrace door was posted, however ravelers should be aware before booking a hotel for its scenery. The view is an incentive to book here — and the view as advertised online was ultimately inaccessible due to construction. The restaurant was also closed during my whole stay because the chef was away. The hotel manager was condescending when I asked for directions and information, showed no sense of customer care. And to top it off, upon checkout, the novice clerk at the front desk insisted that I owed an extra night of City tax, despite my showing him the payment and receipt and the three day card that I received for all three nights. Clearly it was a system glitch, but he refused to check me out while my Uber was waiting as I had a timely departure. I wrote the manager on hotels.com, no reply; I wrote the hotel several times directly via email with proofs of receipt to rectify the tax error, yet also no reply. Considering the Hitlon brand, I had higher expectations — but Tivoli was all in all a disappointment.

We arrived early but the receptionist did an excellent job in making us welcome and helping us to find our way around the city. The breakfast was good, with no complaints. The room was not so good the air conditioning was taped off and the only option was on at the preset temperature or off. It wasn’t even possible to quieten the fan at night so you have to live with the noise or turn it off and open the window. The sink plug was also broken and it was quite obvious that it was, it seems ridiculous that it hadn’t been repaired.

A very good stay. The staff were great and breakfast was fantastic. The room was very comfortable and quiet and the AC worked well. The only reason not a 5 star stay is the room wasn’t immaculate and the bed sheet was stained. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here though. Very convenient to get into old town, great breakfast and nice room.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. The building needs maintenance like the air conditioning and the dryer did not work.

20 minutes walk from Innsbruck Hauptbahnhof or 10 minutes on a bus. Very convenient to everything using public transport. Loved the Innsbruck welcome card which gives you free public transport and 3 cable car rides as well as discounts to other tourist sights. Comfortable hotel and has a complimentary washing machine and dryer on the 11th floor. This was great as we were in our 4the week of backpacking. Wifi is a bit temperamental on the 10th floor so relied on my data. Only downside is the air conditioning is climate controlled, and unable to adjust the room’s temperature manually. Room was too warm for me, and if you open the window, it turns off the air conditioning ☹️. Having said that, would definitely recommend it. Safe area if a female travelling solo.

Bed was really stiff but overall the room was nice. It is not centrally located so you need to take public transportation or have your own vehicle.
