We loved this historical property. With that in mind it looks like they are doing a great job with the upkeep of the buildings. It was really neat staying in the attic room. My only recommendation is to give the A/C units a good scrubbing. It's just so humid there was a bit of mold around/on/in them.

Location was great, one block from bourdon street. Everything in walking distance. Loved the room like a small studio. Came with washer and dryer so nice. Def will be back

I had an early flight and I was able to have an early check-in which was nice. I even received a free upgrade to the “White House”. Staffing very accommodating. The manager was the best for the upgrade!!! So conveniently located 1 block from Burbon St. Cute pool, love the snacks in the lobby. Id highly recommend staying here.

From the moment I arrived, we were captivated by the hotel's breathtaking ambiance. The property is absolutely beautiful, and the room was even more impressive in person than in the photos. Staying in the heart of the French Quarter was important to me, but I also wanted a place with character and a true sense of New Orleans. This hotel delivered exactly that. Rather than feeling like a large, modern chain, it transported us to another era, making me feel as though I were staying in a beautifully preserved period piece. What truly made the experience exceptional was the staff. Every person we encountered was warm, kind, and genuinely helpful, making me feel welcomed throughout my stay. If you're looking for an authentic French Quarter experience with charm, history, and outstanding hospitality, this hotel is the perfect choice.

unbelievable how peaceful this place is considering it’s right off bourbon. one snarky front desk guy, but for the most part everyone very kind & helpful.

I have been visiting NOLA since 1993 & I've stayed in several different hotels in and around the Quarter... This hotel is hands down the best one I have had the pleasure of staying in... everything from the staff to the rooms to the hotel itself is outstanding... hats off to Olivier House for the being the most NOLA TO THE BONE hotel there is... I'll be back real soon.

If you love vintage beauty this is the hotel for you!

The Oliver House is a gorgeous old NOLA hotel with tons of character and charm. We stayed in a junior suite with a balcony view. It was quiet but just around the corner from Bourbon Street. The bed was comfy and had beautiful accommodations. We enjoyed soaking our feet in the pool after a long day. The staff was very helpful and one (wish I could remember his name) even went and got something out of our truck we forgot. The only negative was the older AC could not keep the room very cool. We just slept with the sheet and the abundance of fans they provided. We highly recommend this beautiful historic hotel. No ghost sightings either 😁
