The resort looks a little dated and slightly run-down from the outside, though the interior is fine. The water heater can be unreliable at times, suddenly turning cold, and the toilet flush is somewhat faulty. Overall, the stay was still bearable. The staff provided excellent service and were very polite. Traveling to town or other areas usually takes around 30–40 minutes, and Grab and Gojek are extremely convenient there. The resort’s Barelang Seafood Restaurant serves surprisingly good food (I’d say quite good), with prices that are very reasonable and cheap compared to more famous seafood restaurants elsewhere. The pool also had a foam party, which our kids enjoyed tremendously. Would be even more ideal if hotel do increases the shuttle services especially during peak season.
