We liked a lot overall - restaurants and bars were fun, views from rooftop at night were great (recommend reserving a table to get a good spot). Rooms weren't anything fancy and some of the art was a little odd, but totally comfortable and clean. Staff was great, 11/10 for friendliness. We were delayed on the way in and they refunded us for that night which was also much appreciated.

We loved our four night stay at The Freehand and will hopefully return. Great location, well maintained, attractive atmosphere, helpful staff, fun bars. I recommend choosing the slightly larger rooms with a modest sitting area.

I love the Freehand hotels. The room was a good size for being in NYC! For the two of us, we had plenty of room. The Broken Shaker bar was such a fun place to rest after a long day of exploring. Staff was friendly and I always felt safe in and around my hotel!
