We only found out how far the hotel was from our event when we arrived and had to spend more than 60 euros one way. We tried to make arrangements with the front desk person to reduce our stay because of false info given us during the online booking about how far the hotel was to our week long event. We ended up cancelling the entire booking and rebooked for a lesser number of days but the experience was extremely unpleasant because she kept on changing the room rates during the entire process. She knew we didn't have a choice and we felt that she was trying to gouge us which is a poor reflection of how a hotel chain person should act. She was condescending and treated us like we were stupid and kept on saying its our fault for cancelling. She doesn't have any business being in the front line. On the other hand, the housekeeping staff were very very nice and went out of their way to help us in our needs. They were very accommodating and physically assisted us with our luggage when we couldn't lift these up. Some of the dining room staff were also very nice and helpful. Lastly, my first room was too hot and there was no mechanism to adjust the temperature

Very basic and old rooms, bare minimum. Great spot but that’s about the only benefit. Not worth the money.

We had a good stay (3 different rooms). The bed were comfortable, and there was no noise problems. Staff were friendly. We enjoyed that all the rooms had a bathtub. We had rooms were animals were allowed, and it's seems to be older hotel, which can be seen in the room condition, as well as in some of the fixtures, but we did manage to find sockets behind the night table. Breakfast buffet was fine, and dinner buffet was acceptable, though one could easily find better and cheaper alternatives in the area. We'll be glad to stay there another time, one of the best hotel I've been in where animals was allowed. Definitely value for money. If you're staying with animals: they charge 15 euro/night for it (at least for cats). I couldn't find the info online, which is why I mention it.
