I had a lovely stay at Crystal Sands. I really liked the hotel, its location, and the breakfast, which was good. Overall, I enjoyed my experience.
However, there was one incident that left me disappointed. I got stung by a jellyfish and informed the staff, who assisted me by providing vinegar. I appreciated their assistance. However, during the interaction, they shared a story about another tourist who had also been stung by a jellyfish and laughed about the situation because the tourist wanted to be taken to the hospital.
People may have different reactions to unexpected situations, but I don’t think being stung by a jellyfish is something to laugh about. It can be painful and frightening, and wanting to seek medical attention is a reasonable response. Guests should be treated with empathy, respect, and understanding, especially when they are dealing with a distressing situation.
I hope the staff will be more mindful and compassionate when discussing or handling situations like this.
