The hotel is well-maintained, with excellent staff. Our room condition was very good, especially the bathroom with dual vanity. A nice in-room safe is provided, although I don't think crime is much of an issue. Breakfast food and room were excellent. However, there was an espresso machine that was difficult to use and was sometimes out of service. Everyone was opting for the regular coffee machine. This Thon hotel is in a less trendy location than some of the nearby Thon hotels surrounding the Karl Johans Gate area, but it is very convenient for walking anywhere in the downtown area or for using mass transit.

Location was excellent, very easy to get around. Breakfast was good - lots of choice. The staff were helpful. I had a corner room which I couldn’t stand up in, you couldn’t access one side of the bed as there was a huge tv at the end of the bed plus sloped roof. The blind wouldn’t stay closed. Apart from the room it was great!

They offer a breakfast buffet that’s as good as anywhere! Very fresh, abundant and nutritious. It’s nearly worth the price of the room . As expensive as food is in Oslo, you don’t want to pass this up.
