There’s some things that are in and out of the control of the hotel. It’s an older building, so I can give them the benefit of the doubt. The staff were very helpful, the included breakfast was nice. The room itself was fairly dirty, and the sheets, though clean, had a lot of hair in them. We didn’t feel comfortable sleeping under the sheets. There were critters, silver fish, and fruit flies. I don’t recommend bringing in much food and leaving it in the room. There was a fridge and freezer which worked great. They mention parking, but you’d be lucky to find a spot, as there’s only a handful available. You’re further east, so it’s easy a 40+ min walk to downtown, or you’re close enough to transit. A little bit of an older area, but once you get up to Ontario St, there’s lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance. If you want a quick place to stay, that is often cheaper, you could go here. But still, for the price, and the quality, I wouldn’t stay here again. It wasn’t worth it.

Its a fine stay if you want to save money, but its noisy, the beds are uncomfortable, the bathrooms smell and the shower is dark and tiny. The neighborhood is a bit down and out, far from downtown. Only perk is free parking.

Easy to check in/out. Clean room with AC, good continental breakfast. Good location for transit to downtown Montreal. Parking however can be tricky ... one may end up on the street or even worse not be able to get out as planned because of another car in the way.

For the price, I would say a good value. Clean to sleep. We just wanted a place to lay our head and be able to park. The area seemed a bit sketchy at first, but ended up fine. Not far from Old Montreal. If you are not looking for a "resort" type place, I'd recommend. I'd say couples or individuals, not really a family with kids - rooms aren't huge.

The check-in was a bit late and stressful for me in that the Google maps got me lost, and then 😳 I was asked for a deposit after the fact about my room (?). Although I had paid for the room already. Anyway, I found the room was clean and very stylish. Thank you

Great
The hotel appears to be in a sketchy part of town and we were a little concerned because the desk reception said we could park outside the hotel, even though there was no signage. The room was much smaller than we expected but was OK otherwise, since the rooms were all built inside an old Post Office. The breakfast was OK but not up to the standard of a "Best Western" or "Travelodge" and yet the price was comparable; the offering was cold food only (cereal and boiled eggs i think) so, all in all an OK experience but we will not be returning.
