Room was clean. Housekeeping wasn’t the greatest. They were skimping on the linens. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Mini bar was very poorly stocked

My wife and I stayed at Boutique Residences Budapest from May 1–10, 2026. Overall, we would rate our stay as “Good.” The best feature of this property is the excellent location, just steps from St. Stephen’s Basilica in Pest and within easy walking distance of many attractions. Staff were friendly and helpful, housekeeping was very good, and the included breakfast was convenient and perfectly adequate. We especially want to recognize Thomas, who was excellent in helping us with concerns about the room, particularly the air conditioning and lighting issues. There were a few disappointments. The “Executive Room” felt smaller than expected based on the website description and photos, and the advertised “comfortable armchairs and table” were not quite what we anticipated. One bedside lamp did not work and took a couple of days to repair. The larger issue was the air conditioning. During our stay, temperatures reached about 25°C, but the AC system had been turned off for the building. Initially we were given a fan and advised to keep the windows open. After a few days, the AC was partially restored, but only overnight from 10 PM to 4 AM. Since AC is advertised on the website, this was frustrating. Overall, we enjoyed the residence, location, and staff.

One of the best hotels we have ever stayed at while traveling! Best staff ever! Loved it!

Excellent location. The air conditioner was not working so it was very hot in the rooms. Also, we were next to the servery so it was very loud in early morning. Perhaps a self closing door would be better there. Thanks.
