Receptionist was rude and even there were rooms to check in by midday, she tried to charge extra stating is early check in. Very opportunistic and ugly.

Wonderful stay in Erlangen near city center and close to the train station. Good, spacious room and an extensive breakfast platter. Gym is adequate and service is also quite good.
