This place is a hidden gem!!! The location, breakfast, staff were all amazing! It was such a nice place to stay especially the receptionist was very helpful. If you plan on ordering a taxi, they can provide you with a list of estimated price so you won't get scammed!

The Akanthus hotel is an incredibly beautifully renovated boutique hotel. Everything is top quality and the layout of the property is incredible offering a nice pool, decks to relax and beautiful views of the night sky. Easy to walk anywhere in town and parking was close. Great value with nice breakfast included.

We had a wonderful 2 night stay at this small, family run boutique hotel. The room was beautiful with comfortable bedding (mattresses were just right - not too hard, not too soft). There was plenty of storage space in the wardrobe. The breakfast —- with eggs made to order - was particularly good. We also enjoyed a nice afternoon at the pool. The staff were very helpful with restaurant recommendations and arranging a taxi to the nearby Ephesus archeological park. We are very happy with our decision to stay at the Akanthus.

Most gracious and hospitable hosts I have come across throughout our trip in Turkey! Our journey to Selcuk was very long and our host kindly gave us an early check in which we really appreciate! The rooms are tastefully decorated, the breakfast sumptuous, and the hotel itself is like a quiet piece of paradise furnished with care and love. Special thanks to the two gentlemen hosts, the kitchen ladies and Alp for their warmth and generosity in making our trip so memorable!

Our stay at Akanthus was marvellous from the beginning to the end. We felt very much at home. The two owners were very friendly and helpful. Their suggestions on restaurants and sightseeing really gave an extra authentic experience to our visit. The hotel itself was exceptionally designed and very well thought out. Our room was the best in the whole hotel. If you are planning on going to Selçuk you MUST stay there, if not you are missing out on a wonderful hotel.

This is an oasis that is within 5 - 7 min walking distance of the busy and fun area of Selcuk. Location was great, the rooms and garden pool area were lovely, and the staff were very accommodating! We highly recommend it.

This hotel is a very quaint and romantic hotel, in a very old and well preserved home. They have a small swimming pool and deck, where one can sip their tea/coffee with their lovely homemade cakes and relax with the sunset. Very good service and helpful staff. Serves some delicious breakfast.
