Check in took a long time, big queue and only one person checking us in, despite 2 other staff members standing around behind them. Swearing about the chairs. Room was basic but clean. Very thin walls, not a huge amount of sleep thanks to the couple in the next room!

The room was on the ground floor lovely and clean nice comfy bed, spacious bathroom hand wash, and body wash, very clean, staff were very helpful excellent, would stay again, very close to shops restaurants bars etc car park across the road

The Photos on Expedia are different to the actual hotel. The staff, especially the General Manager was rude, using harsh words on guests, no hospitality etc and any inquiries on something not okay he simply says “that’s the hotel policy” and no attempt to be hospitable . Also asks for Bank details and one needs to swipe their bank card while checking in which is not ideal. The rooms do have any storage drawers too.

I had a great stay at this hostel in room 107. The room was peaceful and clean, which made it easy to relax and recharge after a long day. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout my visit. Overall, it was excellent value for money, and I would definitely recommend it to fellow travelers looking for a comfortable and affordable place to stay.

Solo stay

Check in was slow. I booked a single bed room with private bathroom for three nights. During the end of May. It was beginning to get warm in Liverpool. There was no TV, no hot water kettle, no AC. There is a communial shared kitchen. That has hot water kettle, microwave, stove, two small Frigerators. The room windows are locked. Unable to get fresh air into the room. The room was hot during the day and night. I asked if the window could be opened. Told no, because of safety and fire prevention. Very strange response. Don't stay there during the summer months.

Clean and basic room. Nowhere to put anything, especially in the bathroom, not even a towel rail! No TV. Bed needed a mattress protector! Bar was closed for a private function. Good position for walking into the city centre and ideal for just one night stay.

I stayed here with my girlfriend. The room and hotel itself were lovely but the staff was nothing but rude. We are both young adults and the reception staff attempted refused us entry even though we presented legal ID that proved our age. Also the next day they interrogated my girlfriend on what room we were staying in and repeatedly asked us if we were checking out that day even though we had booked for two nights. It’s discrimination to treat us like criminals just because we are young. I am deeply disappointed with this.
