Good breakfast

The staff was friendly and efficient but the room smelled like it had formerly been a smoking room.

The single bed was very narrow. Could have been wider considering that the room was spacious.

My recent stay was, without exaggeration, one of the worst hotel experiences I've had in the past five years, spanning 18 different hotels. The only redeeming quality was the decent breakfast. Beyond that, the experience plummeted far below average. A prime example: we ran out of toilet paper and were told we either had to retrieve it ourselves from downstairs during a specific time window or wait for the next day's room service. This level of inconvenience is unacceptable. However, the most significant flaw is the hotel's misleading "non-smoking" policy. While smoking is prohibited indoors, it's permitted on balconies and downstairs. This meant that as a first-floor guest, or if a neighbor smoked, opening the window was impossible due to pervasive smoke. This issue was severely compounded by the complete lack of air conditioning during our stay, with temperatures soaring to a stifling 89°F (32°C). The combination made the room virtually uninhabitable. There are numerous other significant issues, but these alone are enough to warrant a strong recommendation: do not stay here.
