The hotel was good for one night - a place to rest your head. It is not somewhere that I would have booked for a longer stay. It was an okay experience.

Small town, good jumping off point for Inverness and northern Scotland. Bar and dining downstairs, grocery store just next door, easy access to the highway. Pretty quiet where we were towards the back, gulls made the most noise of anything, but nothing thst bothered us.
Room itself was fine, we ended up in a triple room somehow (just me and my wife), so space was a little tight with a queen and a twin bed, but it was ok. Bathroom was ok too, no real issues.
All in all, nice enough stay.

Check in was quick and easy, every staff member I spoke with was helpful and friendly, food was excellent and very reasonably priced, room was clean and tidy, only small downside is room was rather small as was the TV, but did nt take anything away from a pleasant stay

The staff were lovely. No complaints there, and my room had been recently renovated, but the bathroom drains in my ensuite were really smelly.
Also, the breakfast coffee was tasteless, and the scrambled eggs didn't taste like eggs.
