This place was run down tile coming off the walls in the bathroom. I had to clean the shower and sink. If I hadn’t prepaid no refund I would have left Never again will I stay here even if it was free. This was my worse experience in a hotel

This place was a nightmare from a Jordan Peele movie. I smelled it before walking into the lobby and knew right away I would not be staying. It smelled like mildew and mold. The whole lobby was dark except one flickering light in the corner. The photos were not at all representative of the actual condition of the hotel grounds or the room I was given. They charged me an extra fee for slightly early check in. As I walked through the halls to reach my room the smell got more intense. As I passed the pool area it looked poorly maintained and there was a large crack in the window. After entering my room the smell was overwhelming. There was a literal hole from ceiling to floor that was poorly patched over clearly caused by water damage from the room above. There was a thick layer of dust on everything from the furniture to the walls like it had not been cleaned in years. The bed was disgusting there was hair and other bodily crumbs and debris under the top sheets. After checking below the fitted sheet there was deep and dark brown stains that to me indicated bed bugs. The cabinets were damaged and peeling and the tub tiles and grout were crumbling apart. The desk played games acting like they weren't aware the room was in such a terrible state and tried giving me another room. I received a refund except for the additional charge for early check in. I had to find another room last minute for almost 3x the cost and should have really been reimbursed the cost by Expedia.

Dirty, bad smells throughout hallways— mostly marijuana. Totally run down/- carpets upstairs old and frayed. Bedding was clean, but I honestly didn’t want to touch anything else. No other hotels available close enough to airport for the night, so they had their rates jacked up to $400 a night (should have been $50!!!). Was really dry, but no water available and the vending machine was broken. Total disaster – – avoid!

My husband and I stayed at Chicago Club Inn & Suites for a quick weekend trip to Chicago. We chose this hotel because it offered a more affordable rate than many others in the area. While we knew we weren’t booking a luxury hotel, at around $220 for one night, we still expected a much better overall experience. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, which we really appreciated. Unfortunately, the hotel itself was disappointing. We booked one of the hot tub rooms, but as soon as we walked in, we noticed a strong mildew smell. The room felt cold, outdated, and not very clean. While the beds were actually comfortable, the overall cleanliness left a lot to be desired. It seemed like housekeeping may not have enough time or resources to thoroughly clean the rooms between guests. The complimentary breakfast was typical—nothing exceptional, but it was adequate. Outside, the landscaping appeared to have been neglected, and the pool looked dirty, which didn’t make us feel comfortable using it. Overall, the property is in pretty rough condition and could really benefit from updates and better maintenance. The friendly staff was definitely the highlight of our stay, but unfortunately the accommodations did not meet our expectations. Based on our experience, we would rate this hotel 1.5 out of 5 stars. We don’t mind staying at budget-friendly hotels, but for what we paid, we expected a cleaner, better-maintained property.

Stayed with family · For friends and family

This was a terrible experience! Arrived air was not on. We had a hole in the ceiling, what looked like blood on the wall, missing outlet covers. We were next to the pool could hear kids screaming through the wall. Maid service didn't happen unless you told the front desk you needed it- the door sign meant nothing. We often had to ask for toilet paper, towels and trash removed. Ive stayed in a fair amount of goof and bad hotels. This hotel is not worth more than $100 a night not the $250 they are charging. Young front desk guy was a complete jerk when I asked why maid service was not completed he replied he does not make the rules. I asked for the manager and he replied he was the manager. I asked who makes the rules and he said the owner. I saw how the owner treated the female whose phone was stolen from the breakfast area. Pool was green. Breakfast was decent and the person female in charge was very nice. The older gentleman just sat and watched everyone. The outside doors did not lock anyone could get in the side doors without a key at anytime. Geneva- West Chicago was a better experience.
