I checked in to sleep and but had trouble sleeping because of nearby party. When I raised my concern, it was properly addressed. General manager of the hotel personaly talked to me, understood my concern and not just apologized but rightly compensated with food and royal tour of the palace. He even offered free accommodation for another day but my trip plan didn't allow me to take it. Mr. Shyam singh from front office courtesly explained the palace and royal dynasty. It is not the goodies, free food or the tour that impressed me to give 5 stars but the courtesy of the General manager and Shyam singh in understanding my concern and placing customer satisfaction over everything else. I will be looking forward to stay again when I come back to Jodhpur. My heartfelt true feedback is to compliment the hotel staff and hope it help future guests.

Gorgeous property with a palace, surrounding beautiful grounds and a huge lake. There are too many features to list. The highlight of the trip was the abundant wildlife in the property grounds. We saw peacocks, owlets, gray langurs and many others.
We stayed at the retail suite in the palace and it was a wonderful experience. The staff and management are all very friendly and all do them without exception went out of their way to ensure that our stay was comfortable and memorable.
A member of our party had a bunch of dietary restrictions and they were able to accommodate us at every meal.
The rooms are spacious with modern bathrooms. You get the old world palace feel with modern amenities.
Another highlight was the dining experience, outdoors with fire and kababs served on cast iron serve ware. We enjoyed this so much we dined there every night during our 4 night stay.
The grounds are so vast that we didn’t cover all of it. They even have a step well and stables on the grounds.
Highly recommend staying here. I’d love to go back some day.

The property is beautiful and an attraction in itself. It is quite far from the inner city which we didn’t mind as you can use uber. The hotel offers cab services but the prices are exorbitant. The checkout was a bad experience however, as they seem to be rushing us for checkout even though we were within the checkout time. That seemed a little terrible. So while the checkout experience was bad overall the property was beautiful and well worth a stay although next time I would stay longer as 1 night is not enough to truly experience the property.

A great jewel in Jodhpur that affords an affordable Heritage experience. The property is a former summer palace for Jodhpur Royalty. The suites are in the Lake Palace itself but we stayed in the more affordable 2 person rooms that apparently quartered soldiers in the past. These smaller bedrooms are beautifully furnished and comfortable. They are all on the ground floor and there is nature right outside - so expect a few bugs and ants. And Langurs hanging out on the outside. As a green haven in the midst of chaotic and honestly dirty Jodhpur this has to be expected.
There are horse stables and foals on the vast grounds besides multiple animals including peacocks, langurs, herons, big big bats, we even saw a wild boar streak through the facility! Our children enjoyed the horse ride which cost Rs 1000 for 20 minutes.
The place has so much undocumented history! There an old Shiva temple and step well besides numerous abandoned monuments that could tell a lot of stories if they could speak.
The staff are courteous and the restaurant serves an eclectic menu although their Dal Makhani is famous throughout Jodhpur.
If you love nature there is no better place to stay in Jodhpur.
